Delivery by Knjižara sv. Dominik is organised carefully and securely to ensure that every order is properly packed and dispatched as quickly as possible.

Knjižara sv. Dominik endeavours to prepare every order with care, package it securely and dispatch it without unnecessary delay. Products ordered through the ksvd.hr online store are delivered by Croatian Post (Hrvatska pošta) to the address provided by the Customer when placing the order.

1. Delivery Area

Delivery is available throughout the Republic of Croatia to the address specified when placing the order.

The Customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information, particularly the recipient’s full name, address, postal code, city and contact telephone number.

For information regarding the availability and conditions of delivery outside the Republic of Croatia, please contact us before placing your order.

2. Delivery Costs

The delivery cost is displayed during the checkout process and can be reviewed by the Customer before the order is finally confirmed.

Delivery charges may depend on the value of the order, the weight and dimensions of the shipment, and other specific delivery requirements.

Where free delivery is available for orders above a certain value, the applicable condition will be clearly displayed in the online store.

Special delivery charges may apply to oversized or heavy products, fragile items, and products requiring special packaging or transportation. If standard delivery is not possible, we will contact the Customer before dispatch to arrange an appropriate delivery method.

3. Order Processing and Delivery Time

We process and prepare received orders for dispatch as quickly as possible.

Delivery time depends on product availability, the delivery destination and the delivery times of Croatian Post.

If a particular product is not immediately available or an order cannot be dispatched within the usual timeframe for any reason, we will contact the Customer using the contact details provided when the order was placed.

Delivery times may be longer during public holidays, periods of increased order volume, adverse weather conditions or other circumstances beyond the control of Knjižara sv. Dominik.

4. Cash on Delivery and Croatian Post Fee

If the Customer selects cash on delivery, the order amount is paid when the shipment is received.

For cash-on-delivery payments, Croatian Post charges the recipient an additional fee for transferring the cash-on-delivery amount according to the following calculation:

• for cash-on-delivery amounts up to €47.50 – the fee is €1.90

• for cash-on-delivery amounts above €47.50 – the fee is 4% of the cash-on-delivery amount

This fee is not revenue of Knjižara sv. Dominik and is not included in the product price or regular delivery charge. It is charged directly to the recipient by Croatian Post when paying for a cash-on-delivery shipment.

As a result, the total amount payable by the Customer upon receipt of the shipment will be higher than the order amount by the applicable Croatian Post fee.

Example: If the cash-on-delivery amount is €100.00, the Croatian Post fee is €4.00, meaning the Customer pays a total of €104.00 upon delivery.

We recommend that Customers take this additional fee into account before selecting cash on delivery as their payment method.

5. Receipt of the Shipment

We recommend that the Customer inspect the external condition of the parcel upon receipt.

If the parcel is visibly damaged, opened or shows other signs that the contents may have been damaged during transport, we recommend that the Customer immediately inform the delivery person and, where possible, have the condition of the shipment recorded at the time of delivery.

If, after opening the parcel, you find that a product is damaged, part of the order is missing or the wrong product has been delivered, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can review the case and arrange the appropriate next steps.

6. Unsuccessful Delivery and Uncollected Shipments

If delivery cannot be completed due to an incorrect address, the recipient being unavailable or another reason, the shipment will be handled in accordance with Croatian Post’s applicable procedures.

The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the delivery information provided when placing the order.

If an uncollected shipment is returned to Knjižara sv. Dominik, the Customer may contact us to arrange possible re-dispatch. Any additional delivery cost will be communicated to the Customer before the shipment is sent again.

7. Oversized and Fragile Products

Due to the nature of our product range, certain products may require special packaging and delivery arrangements.

Special delivery conditions may apply to oversized or heavy products, particularly sensitive or fragile items, and other products for which standard delivery is not suitable.

If a particular order requires a special delivery method or incurs an additional cost, we will inform the Customer before dispatch.

8. Shipment Tracking

If tracking is available for the selected shipping service, the Customer may receive the information required to track the shipment through the Croatian Post tracking system.

Once Knjižara sv. Dominik has handed the shipment over to Croatian Post, the subsequent delivery time and progress depend on the selected postal service, destination and Croatian Post delivery conditions.

9. Personal Data Required for Delivery

For the purpose of completing delivery, the personal data required to deliver the shipment may be provided to Croatian Post.
